Tabpocalypse is a Chrome extension that helps you manage your open browser tabs. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

Permissions Used

tabs permission

The extension reads the URL, title, and favicon of your currently open tabs. This data is used solely to display your tabs in the extension’s interface, detect duplicate URLs, and allow you to close tabs in bulk.

host_permissions (<all_urls>)

Required by Chrome’s Manifest V3 to access tab URL and title information across all websites. This permission is used exclusively for reading tab metadata — the extension never modifies or injects code into any website.

Data Collection

Tabpocalypse does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

• All tab information is processed locally in your browser.
• No data is sent to any server, API, or third party.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry are included.
• No cookies, local storage, or any other form of persistent data are used beyond what Chrome’s extension system requires.

Third-Party Services

Tabpocalypse does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the change. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
